Reading a St. Catharines Standard (Jan.7, 2008) story headline “Ombudsman debate starts 2008” , I wondered how welcome it would have also been to see a headline which read: Ombudsman’s NHS inquiry starts 2008.
The AMO and the Ombudsman’s office will be competing as investigators “for the right to probe complaints about secret regional meetings.”
A Niagara Falls regional councillor, Barb Greenwood, said “competition is a healthy thing.”
So, why is no-one telling that to the Liberals in regard to Ontario’s sicko health-care monopoly?
