A report from the Environmental Law Center documents how NASA responded within 15 minutes, but it took eleven Canadian federal employees 50 emails to decide whether the journalist’s story would be “positive/informative.” Eventually, the reporter received “approved lines." And earlier this year, federal meteorologists were ordered not to discuss climate change in their coverage of extreme weather. The reason, an Environment Canada spokesman told journalist Mike De Souza in May, is that meteorologists are only experts in “their field of severe weather,” so “climate change or long-term trends would be directed to a climatologist or other applicable authority...”

They didn't bother to ask BEFORE Harper; they're not asking AFTER Harper! Funny, eh? 

Where's all that 'scientific' 'man-made climate-change' 'evidence' in 2017, from Environment Canada, which Lafleche and Spears can now (apparently) easily obtain by just a simple phone call or email directly to one of Zoolander Turdo's government climatologists?!?

You'd think that Lafleche and Spears would have already published all this evidence - even when Martin was in power... or when Chretien was in power... or at any time, really, just by getting it from Liberal MPP Jim Bradley, who has had the (secret) evidence of man-made climate-change for several DECADES. Bradley was free to show Spears and Lafleche all his 'global warming evidence' - and Harper had no control over that!
Yet, for some reason, Lafleche and Spears never asked Bradley - after all, Jim Bradley was only Ontario's Environment Minister, and the Godfather of GreenFear. Bradley could have been asked - yet, no one bothered. Was Bradley muzzled by someone, who prevented Bradley from revealing all his 'scientific" evidence proving climate change?? Or was Bradley not directly asked (as David Phillips isn't): because they can't actually prove it?

You'd think that Lafleche and Spears would have already published all the 'evidence of man made climate change' {...remember the meme's intended innuendo: that 'science was suppressed' by the evil Harper...}

Criminal charges laid in Ontario Liberal gas-plant cover-up scandal

Finally criminal charges have been laid in the Ontario Liberals' gas plant scandal.
Unfortunately, it wasn't any of Ontario's Liberal politicians who were charged - maybe that is next?
Who gave these people the permission and the direction to enter Ontario government offices and purposefully delete the computer files??! Are we to believe that they just walked in off the street, and did all this on their own - and no Ontario Liberal politician knew about it?!??

Let's fast-forward to Karen Howlett's  Oct 28, 2017 Globe and Mail report on the the Livingston/ Miller criminal trial, to see how Jim Bradley's Liberals operated, and what kind of government they ran:

"...Court has heard that David Nicholl, Ontario's corporate chief information officer, played a crucial role in helping Mr. Livingston gain the special access used to wipe hard drives. Mr. Nicholl asked government IT managers to set up special administrative access to all of the computers in the premier's office, the trial was told. On Jan. 31, 2013, Peter Wallace, secretary of cabinet at the time, approved the access after Mr. Nicholl told him that six staffers in the premier's office already had administrative access. Mr. Nicholl did not explain, however, that the access requested for Mr. Livingston was, in fact, much more extensive, court has heard.

Mr. Livingston's executive assistant, Wendy Wai, was provided with the administrative rights, allowing her to use a special password and sign on to any computer in the premier's office. But the access was used instead by Mr. Faist.

In an e-mail to Mr. Faist on Feb. 4, 2013, presented as an exhibit in court, Ms. Wai says, "CAB IT just called, everything is set up and ready to go," referring to Cabinet Office IT. "I just need to log in as myself at each desktop and you should be able to do your part."

Mr. Faist testified that Ms. Miller's assistant, Alexandra Gair, assisted him with wiping the hard drives. She accompanied him when he was in the premier's office and had the names of staffers whose computers were to be wiped written on a yellow sticky note, he said.

Mr. Faist has told police he was instructed by Ms. Miller to "wipe off personal data" on 20 computers in the premier's office. Between Feb. 5 and Feb. 7, 2013 – just days before Ms. Wynne took office – Mr. Faist erased 632,000 files, accounting for 13 per cent of all the data on the 20 hard drives, police documents allege.

Mr. Faist testified that he submitted an invoice dated Jan. 28, 2013, in the amount of $11,017.50 to the Liberal Caucus Service Bureau.."-

" Former Ontario premier Dalton McGuinty's chief of staff got instructions on how to double delete e-mails in the summer of 2012, a period when the government was under mounting pressure to release documents related to the controversial cancellation of two gas-fired power plants, court documents show.

"I don't really have a strong desire to be email monitor for the Premier's Office," David Livingston, the chief of staff, says in an e-mail tabled as part of an exhibit at a criminal trial. But he says he has "learned a couple of things" after talking to David Nicholl, Ontario's corporate chief information officer: "if e-mails are 'double deleted' (meaning deleted from an INBOX and DELETE file) then they are gone and cannot be retrieved;" and if an e-mail that is to be double deleted has been forwarded, it will also have to be deleted from the "sent" file.

"Having said all of this, nothing is more confidential than talking rather than writing!" Mr. Livingston says in the e-mail dated Aug. 9, 2012, which was distributed to several staff members in the premier's office, according to the exhibit. "Just reading this, so no more triple delete?" one staffer asks. "Apparently not!" came the reply from another staffer.

Mr. Livingston and former deputy chief of staff Laura Miller are facing criminal breach of trust and mischief charges in connection with the destruction of e-mails and other government records related to the cancellation of the two power plants before the 2011 provincial election. Each has pleaded not guilty.

The charges stem from police accusations that Mr. Livingston hired a non-government IT expert, Ms. Miller's spouse, Peter Faist, to "wipe clean" computer hard drives in the Premier's Office just days before Mr. McGuinty stepped down in February, 2013.

The trial at Toronto's Old City Hall has heard from two witnesses about meetings they had with Mr. Livingston in August, 2012, when a legislative committee was demanding the release of gas-plant documents from the minority Liberal government. Peter Wallace, secretary of cabinet at the time, testified on Monday about a "tense conversation" he had with Mr. Livingston during a meeting that month, in which he told him he was "acutely worried" that the premier's office had not complied with a legally binding order to hand over documents in connection with the power plants.

Mr. Nicholl also testified last week that he met with Mr. Livingston in August of 2012, when the chief of staff asked about the process for deleting e-mails and expressed concern about e-mail accounts that were still open after some employees had left the premier's office.

Mr. Nicholl played a key role in helping Mr. Livingston get special access to computer hard drives in the premier's office during the transition from the McGuinty government to Premier Kathleen Wynne in early 2013, the trial was told.

While Mr. Wallace, now city manager of Toronto, approved the special access for Mr. Livingston, he testified that he did so after Mr. Nicholl told him seven people in the premier's office already had special access. Mr. Wallace said he was not aware at the time that the access given to Mr. Livingston was much more extensive, and said it is inconceivable that he would have approved it had he known that the chief of staff would use it to access government records held by other staff members.

On Jan. 31, 2013, the day Mr. Livingston got the special access, he sounded pleased, the e-mail exhibits show. "We have broken through," he said in response to an e-mail from Ms. Miller, asking "Any luck w the admin code?" Mr. Livingston adds in his e-mail that he will be talking to Mr. Nicholl that afternoon about how to "actually get the codes and move forward."

An e-mail from Ms. Miller to Mr. Livingston titled Pete's Project and dated Jan. 24, says the process of wiping computers takes "3-4 hrs per desk."

The trial continues on Friday."

"Ontario's auditor general says electricity customers in the province have paid billions of dollars for the Liberal government's decisions to ignore its own planning process for new power generation projects.
The Ontario Power Authority's 20-year technical plan, which was updated every three years and reviewed by the Ontario Energy Board, would have offered protection to consumers, said Bonnie Lysyk in her annual report released Wednesday. 
 Instead of following the legislated process, the Ministry of Energy itself effectively assumed responsibility for electricity planning," she said.
The ministry issued policy plans and 93 directives that the auditor said "did not fully consider the state of the electricity market, did not take long-term effects fully into account," and sometimes went against the OPA's advice.
"Ontario electricity ratepayers have had to pay billions for these decisions," she said.
The electricity portion of hydro bills for homes and small businesses rose 70 per cent between 2006 and 2014, which Lysyk said cost consumers $37 billion dollars in so-called global adjustment payments to generators — and will cost ratepayers another $133 billion by 2032"

"Premier Kathleen Wynne is promising to win back Ontarians’ trust amid a string of ethics scandals, anger over high electricity prices and collapsing approval ratings.

In a contrite and often emotional speech to her Liberal party’s annual general meeting in Ottawa Saturday, Ms. Wynne admitted that the “polling numbers and the pundits” say “many people in Ontario are not happy with me right now.”

“People look at me and many of them think: ‘She’s not who we thought she was. She’s become a typical politician. She’ll do anything to win,’” she said in the lunch-hour address. “Frankly, I think I sometimes have given them reason to think that.”

The Premier did not say what, exactly, she believed had led voters to question her motives. But the speech comes in the wake of a months-long conflagration over cash-for-access fundraising and less than three weeks after two Liberal operatives, including Ms. Wynne’s former deputy chief of staff, were charged with Election Act offences for allegedly attempting to bribe a candidate in a by-election last year.

Standing alone without a podium in front of the cavernous convention hall, Ms. Wynne also acknowledged that she failed to grasp how much the province’s high hydro rates were hurting Ontarians. She belatedly tried to deal with the problem in September, with a hastily-announced eight per cent subsidy for residential electricity bills.

The Premier said Saturday that more relief will be coming, but did not specify what it will be.

“Our government made a mistake. It was my mistake. And I’m going to do my best to fix it,” she said. “In the weeks and the months ahead, we are going to find more ways to lower rates and reduce the burden on consumers.”

She conceded “I have some work to do to prove that I am who I have always been” and vowed to do a better job understanding voters’ concerns.

“I will do my very best to listen, to respond, to lead, and to serve you and the people of Ontario better,” she said. “I will be right there with you: As premier, as leader, I’ll be there with you as Kathleen, a proud mother and grandmother.”

As Global News (Oct.28, 2013) reported, Kathleen Wynne's Ontario Liberals are denying cancer-treating drug therapy to a Milton, Ontario, mother.

Yes, you read this correctly: this is the single-payer-pushing, monopoly-enforcing Ontario Liberal government of Kathleen Wynne which is denying the cancer-treatment drug Avastin to an Ontario patient.

This is also St.Catharines Liberal hack MPP Jim Bradley who is denying cancer treatment to Ontario citizens. (This is the same Liberal hack Jim Bradley who would like you to believe that... ummm... that it's Mike Harris doing this..!)

But you will NOT hear a peep of concern about this from the Jim Bradley Fan Club (aka St.Catharines Standard). After all, what's any of this gotta do wid Ole Jimmy, anyways - right??!!  Far be it for Grant Lafleche, Doug Herod, or Don Fraser to bother asking Ole Jim Bradley about why his Liberals are denying cancer treatment to Kimm Fletcher.

"Dear Ms. Wynne:

I am writing you today in regards to Laura Hillier, the young woman in Burlington who, with intense treatment, is currently in remission from acute myelogenous leukemia. She is 18 years of age and just recently graduated in my daughter's class from Nelson High School.

Laura and her family were elated to find out that there was more than one match for Laura to move forward for a stem cell transplant recently. Imagine what that kind of news felt like for Laura and her loved ones! Except that they very quickly found out that Laura would not be imminently receiving the transplant due to a lack of beds. What a blow this must have been to them.

The chemotherapy drug that Laura needs to endure to keep her cancer in remission has already caused permanent damage to her vision. It caused a brain infection that spread to her retina. Having this treatment again for an extended period of time while waiting for a bed seems unruly and cruel to put it mildly and may result in further damage or even worse.

Although I do not know Laura, I know of the worry and struggles of someone battling this horrible disease called cancer.

Through my daughter Meghan, I know that Laura is not only an incredible student but also an incredible person. She has set an example to her graduating class of how life should be lived by everyone. Her positivity, infectious personality and zest for life shaped approximately 400 students at Nelson and as an extension, their families as well.

I have never met Laura but I partially credit her for showing my daughter how life should be approached which is a quality that is invaluable especially as Meghan moves on to university in the fall. As I sit here thinking of all the planning that comes from sending your child off to university, I can't help but think of Laura.

I have always taken for granted that Meghan would go through elementary school, high school and then university and we are fortunate that all of this has occurred. All parents think of this, but that has not been the case for Laura's mom, Frances Hillier. Instead of getting ready for university, Laura is in the fight for her life; instead of Frances thinking about meal plans, supplies she needs and Skyping with her daughter, she is worried that a bed will not become available in time to save her precious daughter's life.

I have read all the articles on wait-lists, the different kinds of stem cell transplants and the "strained system" but that is little comfort to Laura and her family. We are fortunate to live in a country where we pride ourselves on equality and justice for all. We need to do everything in our power to find this young lady a bed so she can move on with her treatment. I implore you to provide the necessary support this family needs to provide Laura the provisions to move forward with her stem cell transplant.

In a July 22 letter to the Standing Committee on Justice Policy, deputy minister of government services Kevin Costante confirms that some 1,233 backup tapes have been found — so far — containing emails produced by Wynne related to the gas plant cancellations.
The letter does not give any clue as to how many gas plant e-mails are on each of these tapes — only that the tapes have been found.
In testimony to the gas plant committee on June 6, Wynne denied any involvement in decisions to break her own government’s record-keeping laws by deleting the e-mails.
“Those were decisions that were made by other people in other conversations and I wasn’t part of those conversations ... I wasn’t in those rooms,” she told the committee on that June day.
“I can’t speak to the motivation and I can’t speak to the behind the scenes, because I wasn’t in those conversations.”
The 1,233 tapes belonging to Wynne’s e-mail account are part of some 3,226 “responsive” backup tapes found, including 1,494 tapes containing gas plant e-mails for former energy minister Chris Bentley.
Costante advises the committee in his letter that they will need to cough up anywhere from $1.7-million to $3.5-million to “create readable” e-mails from the tapes.
Wynne was in Niagara-on-the-Lake Wednesday hosting a three-day a meeting of the Council of the Federation, comprised of all provincial and territorial leaders.
But the opposition was quick to jump on the controversy-plagued premier.
PC MPP Vic Fedeli said this clearly shows Wynne has “been involved all along” and that she already knows what it cost to cancel the Oakville and Mississauga plants.
“It’s trying to keep the truth out of the public hands under after the (Aug. 1) byelections,” he said, pegging the $3.5-million bill to retrieve the e-mails as yet another Liberal “stall tactic.”
Gilles Bisson, NDP MPP for Timmins-James Bay, said it’s clear Wynne was not only in the “rooms” when the decisions were made about the gas plants but she was one of the decision makers that led to this gas-plant fiasco.
A Forum poll released exclusively to the Sun this week shows that 52% of those surveyed believe Wynne knew about the e-mail deletions. Almost one in four feel she actually ordered records related to the scandal to be deleted."

Let's not forget that Kathleen Wynne was the Liberal campaign co-chair (along with the thankfully-gone Greg Sorbara) when the seat-buying decisions were made to cancel the gas-plants, and let's remember that Kathleen Wynne (as a McGuinty loyal Grit hack minister) actually signed off on the Oakville gas plant cancellation!

As  PC candidate Steve Black wrote in the Oct.10, 2013 Timmins Press:
"It can be noted that Premiere Wynne was campaign co-chair when the decisions were made to cancel both gas plants, and that she signed the government document that authorized the Oakville gas plant cancellation. She has deceived and hidden costs of the cancellations from the taxpayers."

Liberal GreenFear-monger Glen Murray blames climate-change for his own ineptitude

Following Liberal MPP Jim Bradley's moronic assertions, when as Ontario's Transportation Minister,  Bradley blamed climate change for causing rust...

... now we have another disgusting Liberal Transportation Minister (see Keith Leslie's story, Globe and Mail, Feb.26, 2013), this time it's pathetic Glen Murray, once again trotting out the exact same unsubstantiated GreenFear, trying to cover up for his ministry's lack of timely road maintenance. It's the same old Liberal shit, coming out of another Lying Liberal Grit.

Of course, as with Jim "just trust, me" Bradley, Glen Murray can't really point to any... oh, how did Grant LaFleche put it? - oh, yeah: SCIENTIFIC EVIDENCE of climate change (as GreenFear propaganda, furthering the agenda of redistributive green bolshevism) other than that the climate changes, as does the weather!
