Today (Apr.18, 2011) another Ice Bridge has formed on the Niagara River; this is the second Ice Bridge to have formed in 2011. The first Ice Bridge formed on Jan.14, 2011, and finally disappeared on Mar.19, 2011.
Now, a second, massive Ice Bridge has appeared, quite literally overnight: just yesterday (on Apr.17, 2011) the Niagara River here was completely free of any floating ice - see my photos of the new second Niagara Ice Bridge of 2011 here, scroll to Apr.18.
