Evil GreenFear-monger Maurice Strong a god to Justin Trudeau's Liberals

Canada's Liberal Prime Minister, the global GreenFear-pushing Justin Trudeau, is moaning about the death of socialist Maurice Strong, who was a hero to many of Canada's sick Liberals and socialists.

Let's go back a few years to 2007...
...(back when Ontario's Godfather of GreenFear, Liberal MPP Jim Bradley, had already been propagating his Malthusian views for decades; so both Strong and Bradley (a fellow climatalarmist TM and Kyodiot TM) have become bastard "godfathers" of the climate-change / global-warming hoax! The climate con-man Al Gore was a latecomer compared to those two grifters! Writer Peter Foster in 2008 described Maurice Strong as the "den father of radical environmentalism! Back in 1986, the Toronto Star ecstatically ejaculated all over Liberal Jim Bradley, officially anointing him as no less than an "environmentalist's saint" !!)...
...when writers Claudia Rosett and George Russell had written their detailed article about the sleazy socialist Maurice Strong, whom they noted was also touted as the 'Godfather of the environmental movement' - read "At the United Nations, the Curious Career of Maurice Strong" to see what Jim Bradley's and Green-Shift peddler Stephane Dion's fellow climate-change kool-aid-drinker was up to.

And, let's go back to 2012, to read Tom DeWeese's description of Maurice Strong in the "The Most Dangerous Man In The World":
"...This is a speech I first gave to the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) in 1996, just four years after the UN’s Earth Summit in Rio. At the time I gave this address there were strong indications that Maurice Strong could be chosen as the next UN Secretary General. It didn’t happen, but that didn’t diminish his influence over the body. In fact, In 1996 all roads in the UN led to Maurice Strong. This speech represented the first time that the CPAC audience and most conservatives had ever heard of the radical agenda of the environmental movement. It was probably the first time the term Sustainable Development was ever heard by a conservative audience. In fact, at the time I gave this speech, environmentalism was the most popular and most powerful movement in the world. Yet, here, 15 years before “Climategate” I was revealing the very root of what was to become the “Climate Change” movement and its drive to destroy the industrial West. By the way, tapes of this speech became the most popular of any ever produced by the American Policy Center and continues to be one of our best sellers. TD
Let me begin by asking you a few questions. They may seem rather silly – but I have a point. So, please, just indulge me for a moment – just answer with a show of hands:
How many of you know of Adolf Hilter – and that he was evil? How many of you know Mao Tse Tung – and that he was evil? How many of you know of Lenin and Stalin – and that they were evil?
How many of you know of  Maurice Strong – and that he is evil?"...

In a Nov.28, 2015 CBC story, Justin Trudeau just, uh, forgot to mention Maurice Strong's disgusting involvement the corruption-infested UN Oil For Food scam, or Strong's disgusting connections to Canada's wealthy Liberals!!
The CBC reports Justin Turdeau spewing the usual leftist meme about Strong being a pioneer in "sustainable development"- but what does that crap mean?

Does Turdeau himself understand what his Agenda 21 handlers are telling him to say?!
Well, as it happens, writer DeWeese had already pre-explained what Trudeau (and his fellow Turdobot Agenda 21 clones) actually mean, when they speak about "sustainability":
"...The assault on property rights – in fact the entire radical environmental agenda – is being driven by the United Nations. And Maurice Strong is the number one force behind UN environmental policy. Maurice Strong is the leader of a radical contingent of Environmentalists that believe technology and modern industrialization must be stopped.
Does that sound overstated or too extreme? Well, let me read you a much more radical statement and these are not my words – they’re Maurice Strong’s:
In 1992, Strong told a UN conference…: “It is clear that current lifestyles and consumption patterns of the affluent middle class, involving high meat intake, consumption of large amounts of frozen and convenience foods, use of fossil fuels, appliances, home and work place air conditioning, and suburban housing are not sustainable.”
Now, let me explain this new term “Sustainable” that you will see popping up in environmental policy more and more. Radical greens believe that all of man’s activities on Earth are harmful (and therefore not sustainable). They believe that man is a cancer on the Earth. Their goal is to slowly cut back and finally end all development and reduce human habitat to specific areas while the rest of the world is turned into wilderness..."

Maurice Strong typified the mentality of GreenFear-pushing fellow travellers, such as Liberal MPP Jim Bradley. Strong spawned the kind of barely-cloaked Malthusian climate fascism propagated by Jim Bradley's Ontario Liberals, and by St.Catharines MP Chris Bittle's federal Liberals.

This is the climate-change/global-warming /CO2 GreenFear-mongering scam which Justin Turdeau, Kathleen Wynne, and their sycophants are propagating, locally and internationally - even right now, at the Paris Climate Coven Conclave.

If Liberal MPP Jim Bradley has already been deified to the exalted status of an "Environmentalists' Saint', then Maurice Strong will be glorified by Trudeau's Gaian green-bolsheviks as nothing less than a Malthusian Climate God.

Justin Trudeau: Son of Fuddle-Duddle's Flip-Flops

Further to an earlier post here ...

... talk about the pathetic vaudeville act which Stephane Bumbledore Dion brought to the Liberal party - it looks like Drama Boy Justin Trudeau is now looking to capture Dion's laughable aura.

By Dec.4, 2012, Trudeau has flip-flopped AGAIN on the gun registry issue, telling us that "if we had a vote tomorrow, I would vote once again to keep the long-gun registry".

'WTF?', you may rightly ask!

Justin just several days ago, on Nov.30, 2012, claimed that the gun-registry was "a failure". Now, he says, he would still vote for it again, having just told us he thought it was a failure! This Liberal wannabe leader is as incoherent as Stephane Dion ever was - and he can't blame it away on any accent, either.

It's becoming quite true that there's "no true in Trudeau" - it's just the same old typical lefty moral-equivalency-pandering tactic, as usual, applicable to a host of their malleable positions.

When is this Liberal Trudeau ever telling us the truth?
Today?
Last week?
Now?
A little later from now?!
When he's in Quebec?!
When he's not in Quebec?
For the entire time when, as an MP, he supported the registry, and did not vote to abolish it, even though he now claims it was "a failure"?!

When did the registry suddenly morph into "a failure", for an opportunistic Justin? When he saw possible votes? What a base panderer!

We need only to recall back when the bumbling, hapless Dion was shovelling his GreenShift sh!t throughout Canada in 2008, that Dion was constantly shoving his foot in his mouth, policy-wise, yet, Liberal apologists have since created a mythical narrative that this was someone else's - not Dion's - doing!

Get ready for the same kind of spin (Warren Kinsella's probably manufacturing some already) to help cover for Justin's vacuous vacillation - that somehow, all this was a misunderstanding, that the whole thing was out of context, and, nevertheless, made up by others to smear the earnest, entitled, coiffed fruit of Pirouetting Pierre's loins.

Justin Trudeau - whose motto is that others, but not him, are 'full of shit'  - set out, as he admitted, to smear Harper, yet all that the hallowed Son of Fuddle Duddle managed to do, was only smear himself. So: that is why Justin would be a great Liberal leader...can't wait, really...

Justin Trudeau's little Liberal lies

Further to my earlier post, where Justin Trudeau was claiming that he was being 'taken out of context'...

...now we have this Nov.24, 2012 report by Mark Dunn:

"Justin Trudeau said Friday he was only bad-mouthing one Albertan in a televised rant that has come back to haunt his quest to follow in his father's footsteps and become prime minister.

The Liberal leadership hopeful used a hastily called news conference in Vancouver to issue what critics called a half-hearted apology to wiggle out of a jam opponents have seized on to paint the Liberal party as anti-Alberta.

Trudeau's campaign hit the skids Thursday when a French interview he gave two years ago surfaced with him bemoaning western influence on national affairs and arguing that Canada does better under prime ministers from Quebec.

On Alberta, Trudeau said he didn't mean to smear the whole province - just Prime Minister Stephen Harper.

"I'm sorry I said what I did," he said. "I was wrong to relate the area of the country that Mr. Harper is from with the people who live there and with the policies that he has that don't represent the values of most Canadians.
"..."

So, basically, all the excuses which Justin Trudeau had made, just two days ago, have already been revealed as Liberal lies!! Incredible! We can only imagine mini-Trudeau's Great Radiant Liberal Future.

Now we see there was nothing "taken out of context", as Justin pretended there was, two days ago, after he was caught trying to explain away that forked tongue act of his, revealed in that Quebec interview.

Now we see that Justin, the Grit grifter, was saying one thing here, and another there, all the while pretending in his campaign that he wasn't!! Another calculated Liberal lie.

Even his half-hearted apology should be seen as a lie, for what Justin Trudeau was saying in Quebec was the real, smug Trudeau. Justin wasn't sorry for anything, until his hypocrisy caught up with him while he was grifting for votes in Alberta, cowboy hat and all. Then he lied. Then changed his story, again.

The only person Justin Trudeau has managed to smear, is himself.

The Liberals need this kind of inept two-faced bumbler to become the third stooge [well, Bob Rae is just the Liberal Shemp] to complete their Great Triumvirate of Liberal Leader-Bufoons-in-the-Wilderness: Dion, Ignatieff, and Trudeau ...oh, that would be great...

Niagara press refuses to examine climate-record of McGuinty's GreenFear-monger Jim Bradley

In "Climate-free U.S. debates" (National Post, paper edition, Oct.24, 2012) Climate Depot’s Marc Morano issued a statement on Oct. 23, 2012:

It is very surprising to see three presidential debates and one vice-presidential debate pass without a single mention of climate change. This is the first time this has happened since global warming hit the national stage in 1988. Global warming activists are justifiably outraged by this. After all, Obama declared in April of this year to Rolling Stone that he would make global warming a key campaign issue in 2012. Obama let down a key part of his political base by going silent on climate.
What happened? How did climate change get reduced to a comedic punch line in the 2012 presidential campaign?
The answer is clear. The man-made global warming fear movement never overcame having a partisan figure like Al Gore being its public face and suffered from having the scandal-ridden and distrusted UN IPCC as the source of its science.
Perhaps the most important factor in the climate silence in the 2012 presidential race was a result of the forced vote in the House of Representatives to pass a cap-and-trade bill in 2009, which helped fuel the rise of the Tea Party movement in the U.S. No longer could a politician regurgitate the standard global warming claims of consensus and the need to “act” without facing laughter and derision from angry crowds.

*
The St.Catharines Standard and Niagara This Week have never bothered asking Ontario's primary GreenFear-monger, Liberal MPP Jim Bradley, about where Good Ole Green Jimmy obtained his still-secret-as-of-Oct.-2012 "global warming" evidence.
The local Niagara press giddily, unquestioningly, parroted the climatalarmism peddled from Chretien, Martin, Lastewka, Dion, Ignatieff, McGuinty, Smitherman, Duguid, Jim Bradley, Ban-Ka-Boom, Suzuki, and Gore.

The Niagara press never overcame their own internal partisan biases. They accepted the "global-warming ìs all settled" green-kool-aid from day one.

Neither Bradley, nor his GreenFear-mongering gaggle of Liberal colleagues, admirers, and sycophants, were EVER seriously challenged in Niagara's press, were they?!!

Look back at the St.Catharines Standard's years - decades, actually - of casual, loyal Liberal stenography, which was dutifully peddled as "journalism". Al Gore was lionized in Niagara's press, David Suzuki was fawned over, as was the IPCC, no real questions asked!!

Even after McGuinty announced his resignation on Oct.15, 2012, when he claimed with a straight face that Ontario's economy was his Liberals' most important concern (...oh, come on...!), neither the St.Catharines Standard, nor Niagara This Week, bothered to examine Jim Bradley's lengthy record of climate-fear-pushing ideology, or to examine how Bradley's ballyhooed green bolshevism directly contributed to his Liberals' costly destruction of Ontario's economy. Niagara's Liberal-besotted press was too afraid to make the link.

Local Niagara mayors and councillors (many of them Liberal butt-wipers themselves) did "regurgitate the standard global-warming claims", peddling the GreenFear industry's consensus-science/political-science/junk-science (...as I had written yesterday...) and, they did - with all deluded serious urgency - warn/fearmonger us that we 'had to act' on phony and costly GreenFear-induced projects now-now-now to 'Save The Planet From Climate Doom'. Unbelievable.

The St.Catharines Standard knows all about this, since the Standard did its best to peddle such Liberal GreenFear lies without question; and the Standard did its best not to examine, nor laugh with derision or disdain, at the actions resulting from the outlandish climate-paranoia of the GreenFear-infected locals. Remember: we were all told we 'had to save the planet', at any cost: that was Jim Bradley's and his green-kool-aid-drinking sycophants' mantra.

The St. Catharines Standard has never asked their Buddy Liberal Environment Minister Jim Bradley, about why his Liberal government still peddles cap-and-trade, as evidenced on Jim GreenFear Bradley's own Ministry of Environment tax-payer-funded website; Ontarians should spend the time to visit Jim Bradley's toxic website, to see Jim Bradley's Liberal carnival of green bolshevism in all its unsubstantiated, bureaucratic, bullsh!t-laden glory, all paid for at our expense - in more ways than imaginable.
In particular, note the "Participating In Cap and Trade" section of Bradley's government-propaganda website.

Next, have a look at this May1, 2012 You Tube video of secretive GreenSlimebag Jim Bradley avoiding questions at Queen's Park, about his Liberal cap-and-trade schemes, while still spreading his unsubstantiated GreenFear about climate change!!!

You will see Jim Bradley's smug outright deception about there not being any Liberal cap-and-trade schemes, when all one has to do is visit Jim Bradley's own government website, mentioned above, where there is an entire page devoted to what Jim Bradley says his Liberals have no plans to do!

*
See Lorrie Goldstein's Jul. 25, 2015 column on Obama vs. Harper's climate mythology:

"...Obama is so politically delusional on the issue of man-made climate change, that he actually predicted at the start of his presidency that it would mark the moment, “when the rise of the oceans began to slow and our planet began to heal”.
In that context, the free ride he has been given by the media on this subject, aided and abetted by politicians like Justin Trudeau, is an embarrassment to our profession.
By contrast, the media assessment of Harper — that’s he’s a skeptic on climate change who views the solutions as prohibitively expensive and pays only lip service to the issue — is accurate.
Now consider Obama’s record.
He never even tried to ratify the now-defunct Kyoto accord, as opposed to Harper, who legally withdrew Canada from it.
Obama took one shot at putting a price on U.S. emissions, failed, and gave up. Harper never supported the idea, except for the brief period when Obama did.
Under Obama, the U.S. has become the world’s largest producer of oil and natural gas.
Obama has approved enough new oil and gas pipelines in the U.S. to more than encircle the Earth — except, hypocritically, for the Keystone XL, so he can play up his non-existent green credentials to a gullible media, especially in Canada.
Obama recently approved drilling for oil in the Arctic Ocean, despite the Deepwater Horizon blowout in the Gulf of Mexico during his presidency, that led to the worst oil spill in U.S. history.
Under Obama, U.S. coal exports — the dirtiest fossil fuel — to Asia and Europe hit record levels in 2012. (Recently have they fallen back, somewhat.)
Obama’s so-called “historic” deal on emissions with China — the world’s number one emitter, while the U.S. is number two — is a non-binding, unenforceable wish list the two countries might do someday, long after Obama, whose term ends in January 2017, is gone.
Obama’s domestic commitments to reduce U.S. GHG emissions are no more believable, or doable, than Harper’s.
And yet, when world leaders gather in Paris this December to take yet another crack at developing a global treaty on emissions, Obama will be treated as a saint by most of the media in attendance and Harper, if he’s still prime minister, as an ogre..."
*
Yep: ...and Niagara's local media climate-change-con-job-cabal - even in 2015 - will still continue giving their biased, scrutiny-free ride to GreenFear-pushing propagandists, and will still continue to propagate their standard GreenFear myths that Obama and Jim Bradley are not the actual ogres, but instead are climate-change-preventing gods...!
It is a mass-delusion.

Where's the Canadian documentary about how Jim Bradley's Liberal climate-alarmism helped destroy Ontario's economy?

Quick: Someone, get the water-skiiers from the Wrong-Righting St.Catharines Standard to giddily call Ontario Liberal MPP Jim Bradley about this great news:

Below is another example of the global GreenFear industry diligently at work, still propagandizing about climate change [or global warming, or whatever the enviro-socialists are calling their green-bolshevism these days]. This Oct.23, 2012 report from the National Journal drools with righteous indignity about the overall wonderfulness of this new "expose":

"Tonight's PBS's award-winning documentary series FRONTLINE will air "Climate of Doubt," a special that features the climate-change reporting of National Journal energy correspondent Coral Davenport.

"Climate of Doubt" focuses on how climate change skeptics mobilized to undermine public acceptance of a scientific consensus about global warming. Davenport has written frequently and in-depth about the topic - including the December 2011
National Journal cover story "Heads in the Sand" - and the documentary includes her reporting as well as an interview with her.

A
press release from PBS further describes "Climate of Doubt":
"Four years ago, the presidential candidates agreed that climate change was a critical issue demanding urgent attention. But that national call to action has disappeared and in the past four years public opinion on the climate issue has cooled. This election cycle, the presidential candidates barely discuss climate change. And new studies find that only about half of Americans believe global warming is caused by human activity. What’s behind this dramatic reversal? In Climate of Doubt, FRONTLINE correspondent John Hockenberry of PRI’s The Takeaway explores the inner workings of the movement that changed the debate on climate change.
...
Climate of Doubt describes the individuals and groups behind an organized effort to attack science by undermining scientists, and to unseat politicians who say they believe there is current climate change caused by human activity."
*

With groovy terms such as "undermine public acceptance of a scientific consensus" going completely unchallenged, the above article in no way shows that it is an unbiased piece, right?! haha

Coral Davenport isn't showing any evidence of the scientific basis underlying the GreenFear industry's global-socialism effort - she is just defending it.

No one asked Liberal Environment Minister Jim Bradley [also Ontario's senior climate-change fearmonger] about why global warming agitation hasn't been mentioned recently, in conjunction with Dalton McGuinty's resignation as Ontario premier!!

hahahahaha!!

Why have Wendy Metcalfe's St.Catharines Standard Wrong-Righters decided to cover up for Jim Bradley's GreenFear agenda, yet again?! They still haven't asked Jim Bradley to actually and publicly provide the "evidence" for AGW, which Jim Bradley has alluded to having, for decades - pre-Al-Gore!!

Coral isn't going to mention Liberal Jim Bradley's costly GreenFear-inspired failures in her "expose", is she?!!

Coral isn't going to tell the story... (and, neither will the St.Catharines Standard Bradley-Buttlicker!) of how Jim Bradley was the GreenFear-pushing industry's exemplary political hack-soldier, propagandizing his GreenFear garbage throughout Ontario.

As with the St.Catharines Standard, and as with Coral, the Jim Bradleyites of the GreenFear movement were never really questioned; their supposed 'greatness of purpose' and the 'soundness' of their false scientific basis, were simply lauded, lionized, and magnified ad-nauseam, without analysis, by a far-and-wide fawning press!! To these GreenFear-enablers, it was always "all-settled", from the beginning!! It was simply just taken for granted!! The St.Catharines Standard's decade long-plus love affair with Liberal Jim Bradley's climate fear-mongering is a blatant example of this blind loyalty to a political conjob.

Coral won't discuss the "dramatic reversal" when climate-change propaganda fooled millions of voters, who were fearmongered by Al Gore's climate deceptions, and Obama's 'I will stem the rising tides' baseless rhetoric, and Stephane Bumbledore Dion's GreenShift shafting, will she?

Coral won't bother examining those 'individuals and groups behind an organized effort to attack those questioning the false statistics put forward by the GreenFear industry', will she?!

Coral won't exmine how the GreenFear industry was influence peddling with groundless climate paranoia, agitating to 'undermine the critics questioning GreenFear's-sacrosanct claims, and to unseat (or to jail, right David Suzuki?) politicians who questioned the veracity of climate alarmism', will she?!

It's about time, isn't it, that the St.Catharines Standard, along with the CBC and TVO, get into this propaganda-business together, to do their own little ahem "special" on the GreenFear industry in Canada, and how damn great it would have all been, only if it hadn't been exposed as being based on Jim Bradley's groundless sack of potatoes...

What credibility does Jim Bradley have, on jobs, growth, or the oil sands?!

Here's a story, "McGuinty Has No Credibility On Jobs, Growth and Oil Sands", Oct.7, 2012 Northumberland View:

"Brad Duguid becomes the second Liberal cabinet minister to break ranks with Dalton McGuinty over the job-creating potential of Alberta’s oil sands – further proof McGuinty has no plan to create jobs and grow Ontario’s economy, PC Economic Development and Innovation Critic Monte McNaughton said today.
McNaughton made the comments after it was revealed that Economic Development and Innovation Minister, Brad Duguid, will visit Canada’s oil-production capital to discuss oil sands development. Last May PC Leader Tim Hudak toured the oil sands, praising its strategic advantages to create private-sector jobs and economic growth for Ontario.
“Ontario has many assets to allow us to play a leading role in developing the oil sands including steel and engineering, refineries in Sarnia, research in London, technology in Waterloo, the financial services sector in Toronto and a skilled and entrepreneurial workforce,” McNaughton said. “It’s encouraging to see Dwight Duncan and now Brad Duguid, come around and defy Dalton McGuinty over oil sands development,” McNaughton added.
The McGuinty Liberals are dragging Ontario toward a $30-billion deficit by sacrificing Ontario’s historic advantages of low energy rates, competitive taxes and a low regulatory burden. “And by repeatedly slamming the job-creating potential of the oil sands, Dalton McGuinty has slammed the door on new growth opportunities beyond Ontario’s borders,” McNaughton added.
We are in the midst of a made-in-Ontario jobs and debt crisis as a direct result of nine years of reckless overspending by the Liberal government, McNaughton said, citing that Ontario has hemorrhaged 300,000 manufacturing jobs, while at the same time another 300,000 government positions have been added to the taxpayer-funded payrolls.
“For Tim Hudak and the PC Caucus, our priority is growing Ontario’s economy and creating good-paying private-sector jobs. Every decision we make must go through that lens.
“Instead of running down the oil sands like Dalton McGuinty, we owe it to over half a million Ontarians who are out of work right now to ask how can Ontario best leverage the potential of the oil sands to create jobs here at home,” McNaughton concluded."
*
Now... drumroll ... let's hear McGuinty's Liberal Environment Minister Jim Bradley comment on this!!

When will it be Jim Bradley's turn to bicycle over to Alberta, to show everyone his phony Liberal "change-of-heart" about the oilsands, the way that Liberal con-men Duncan and Duguid and Dalton "apparently" have?!! "break ranks"...hahaha: as if...

What a charade!!

It's FLICKING hilarious how Dwight Duncan - Ontario's finance minister, and a senior Ontario Liberal for a decade - went to Alberta and, as Gary Lamphier writes, "told a Calgary crowd he was “astounded” to learn that Ontario firms will supply some $63 billion of goods and services to the oilsands over the next 25 years, while accounting for seven per cent of all new oilsands-related jobs."

Dwight Duncan is dripping with duplicity with his phony "oh, I'm now so astounded to learn this" crap!

Honestly - disgusting Dunco is now claiming he didn't KNOW about how Ontario had benefitted from Alberta's resources??

Wow, Dunco: did you also NOT know how disastrous your years of Liberal Green B.S. have been to Ontario?! Is this also "astounding" to you now, Dunco?! Are you blissfully unaware, Dunco, how your Liberals have helped destroy Ontario's economy?!

We in Ontario - and folks in Alberta - ought to be 'astounded' that this grifter Dwight Duncan is McGuinty's finance minister!! And we all ought to beware of Duncan's patronizing Liberal duplicity.

What gall for this Liberal charlatan to feign surprise and now pretend he knew nothing about the economic spin-off to Ontario, from the very oilsands which Duncan, McGuinty, Bradley, Duguid, along with their mentor David Suzuki, detested! Now, Dunco, the two-faced snake-oil peddler, goes to Alberta to ingratiate himself to the oil crowd which his Ontario Liberals demonized for years...

If Duncan is surprised about all this, then it can only mean that Dalton McGuinty also had no clue about the economics of Alberta oil, either.

Amazing: now Jim Bradley's Liberals are suddenly astounded by oil, in 2012! What else, then, are these Liberals "astounded" by, which they ought to have known?!! (deficit..? whaaaat??)

Duncan's Liberals DENIED that their anti-oil green bolshevism would cost Ontario jobs - and this was a decade ago, still in Ernie Eves' time, when Good Ole Green Jimmy was smugly poo-pooing the damage his own Kyoto-agitation would wreak upon Ontario's economy!!

These hypocritical McGuinty Liberals have been dumping on Alberta for a decade!! McGuinty's Liberals are green bolsheviks who loved to demonize Alberta, while cooking up their fear-mongered climate-change hysteria in Ontario!!

Why - JUST ASK GOOD OLE GREENSHEVIK JIM BRADLEY ALL ABOUT IT!! No-one dares to reveal this GreenFear-pushing environmental emperor without his leafy ermine robes!!

Good Ole Greenshevik Jimmy's been a climate-change fearmonger for decades; so hating oil and spreading fear about peak-oil-this and population-explosion-that and man-made-global-warming here and extreme-weather-events there, is naturally Jimmy's passion. Let's see how the St.Catharines Standard dutifully does not mention any of this in their hallowed GritFriendly pages. [What 30 billion dollar deficit? Green Jimmy's got the windy green Samsung deal, doncha'll know?!]

Great Gaia's Ghost - why should the Standard's wrong-righters now bother asking Ole Green Jimmy about how his global-warming/climate-change/green bolshevik kyodiotry has helped destroy Ontario, when for years, the Standard gleefully helped peddle Bradley's and Dion's and Suzuki's unvarnished climatalarmism?!!

(...and they still do, as in Dan (the new greenie VanDakinDongenMayer...?) Dakin's little piece in the Oct.9, 2012 Standard, about the family which just knows all about global warming, and how to solve it... and the Standard is just happy to oblige, no questions asked!!!)

What Standard 'presstitutes'... the Standard's wrong-righters will gladly write up stories like that, (with no question or scrutiny on questionable climate claims), yet, they can't get off their rear ends to actually get their BoyBradley (...he's only McGuinty's Environment Minister, after all... what could Ole Jimmy know about global-warming...?) to "reveal" the "causes" of "AGW"! Instead of asking the source, the Standard continues on with their oh-so-typical unchallenged "it's all settled" campaign. Don't ask Jim Bradley, Ontario's GreenFear peddler, for AGW proof, ask the folks with the shiny Prius in their driveway.

Canada's Kyodiot Dion blathers on..

Canada's AGW stooge Stephane Bumbledore Dion, The Disciple of David Suzuki, is still spouting his shifty GreenFear climate socialism. How quaint. Too bad the St.Catharines Standard couldn't be bothered asking their local Liberal MPP Jim Bradley (umm: he's only Ontario's Environment Minister, btw...) about the year passed, and the year in store, and how the world will be destroyed if we don't obey the fearsome climatalarmist commands of Bumbledore!

The St.Catharines Standard peddles more GreenFear

An impressive bit of GreenFear-mongering appeared on pg.A9 of the Dec.26, 2011 St.Catharines Standard, in Thane Burnett's  ominously titled story "Could 2012 be The end?".

Of course, Wendy Metcalfe's wrong righters at the Standard printed Burnett's column without any scrutiny regarding the accompanying photo's outrageous claims.

One great GreenFear doozy was the scary photo of the Earth in some kind of fearsome brown tinge, with this classic smelly 'piece of Justin Trudeau' caption: "Between global warming and rapid change in climate, we are seeing a rapid alteration of our biosphere alongside climatic catastrophes".

Now, that's some Good Ole GreenFear-mongering for you: scared yet, that Armageddon's gonna getcha?!

Read that ridiculous St.Catharines Standard bullsh!t once more, just for fun!! It's almost as if Wendy's Standard is trying to pull off a parody here, and that the fear mongering hyperbolic captions below the photos are actually a spoof, not supposed to be real!!!

It's funny, because Wendy Metcalfe's St.Catharines Standard editors never really provide any evidence to justify the GreenFear which they have just published. Just saying it is proof in itself: after all, AGW is 'all settled', so, how can anyone question it?!!!

If one reads Burnett's story, it's not at all clear who actually makes this claim: Burnett's column doesn't actually make the claim which accompanies the story's photo. Burnett writes of subject Larry Hall mentioning "climate change", but nowhere in the story does Burnett actually write that Hall himself believes it; Burnett reports Hall only saying that others - those who have been GreenFeared into buying his disaster shelters - do; and, Burnett shows us that Hall is more than happy to profit from their fears.

Burnett, in the body of his story, doesn't actually peddle the doomsday scenario, yet, he doesn't question it, either: so it is not clear who, then, actually made the claims in the photo captions which accompany the Standard's story! Did QMI agency writer Burnett also choose the photos and write the captions, or were these inserted and editorialized by others?

Will Standard boss Metcalfe bother to explain why the photo-caption claims which came alongside the story, were not actually part of the story? Jim Bradley, Stephane Dion, and David Suzuki salute you, Wendy.

Wendy could have assigned some other reporter - maybe Spiteri -  to examine the claims attached to Burnett's story, or the Standard's manipulative editorialization of Burnett's story, by referring to Ontario's own Blessed Environment Minister Jim Bradley, for final confirmation that the planet is indeed in 'catastrophic biospherical' meltdown, as Wendy Metcalfe's Standard has actually reported.

Bradley, Ontario's Environmental Sage, could have easily - once and for all - proven that 'the Planet is in Peril', and, that the Standard is not peddling a smelly 'piece of Justin Trudeau', but is printing true scientific facts: Jim Bradley, after all, knows all about the... ahem... reality of global warming.

Gawrsh: all Wendy - or Thane Burnett, or Spiteri - had to do, was call Good Ole Liberal MPP Jim Bradley, who is always available  (...hahaha...) and is always eager (...bwaahaha...) to publicly show the definitive scientific evidence, which only he knows, which proves anthropogenic global warming and climate change!! Why wasn't Environment Minister Bradley consulted?!

Although 2011 'should have been the end' of the St.Catharines Standard's GreenFear peddling, it's apparent that the end of Kyoto has not brought about an end to the Standard's penchant for climate deception.

McGuinty's Liberal Environment Minister Jim Bradley fails to defend Kyoto Protocol

Further to my previous post...

... why hasn't McGuinty's Liberal Environment Minister, Jim 'Kyodiot' Bradley, publicly appeared defending his Liberal government's shoddy so-called commitments to their beloved Kyoto Protocol??

Where is Ontario's Environment Minister Bradley?!

Gosh: back in 2002, Jim Bradley had us all practically believing that he himself gave birth to Kyoto; well... that...  and that the planet would be destroyed if we didn't heed Bradley's GreenFear edicts.

Why has McGuinty's Environment Minister Jim Bradley now abandoned and forsaken the Environment?

Where are you Jim? The Kyoto Protocol - the fruit of your Liberal loins - is calling for your help!

Where have you disappeared, Jim Bradley, when the 'Planet is in Peril' (as the St.Catharines Standard often propagandized)? Are you waiting for further instructions from David Suzuki, perhaps?

We now have the federal NDP taking over Bradley's job as wackjob greensocialism pushers, as can be seen in Kristy Kirkup's Nov.29, 2011 St.Catharines Standard article, below, which - of course - DOES NOT MENTION JIM BRADLEY!!!!!!

Un-FLICKING BELIEVABLE!! [...Jim who? ...Bradley...?? ...who's that??] Hahahahahahahahahaah

The St.Catharines Standard hasn't bothered to mention Jim Bradley yet, in any story regarding anything about Durban or Kyoto... and Bradley (...oh, did I mention that he's Ontario's Environment Minister?!) is the MPP in their own city!!!!

In her article, Kirkup somehow manages to mention everyone BUT  Jim Bradley - who, after all, had been Ontario's head Kyoto pusher in 2002!!!

So, you'd think someone would interview Ole Jimmy 'bout that!! Oh... yeah... and, by the way... did I mention that Bradley is THE ENVIRONMENT MINISTER OF CANADA'S LARGEST PROVINCE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yet, no one bothers to mention the guy!

The funniest lines of  flabbergastingly pompous outrage reported by Kirkup were from the NDP, who are now actually stealing the Crown Of Smug Climate Outrage from Liberals such as Jim Bradley:

"Kyoto's time has come and gone, according to Canada's environment minister.
Peter Kent said the international Kyoto treaty on climate change is "the past" at an Ottawa press conference Monday, but he wouldn't officially confirm to reporters Canada is pulling out of the agreement.
The minister said he plans to work with other countries at a climate summit in Durban, South Africa, to reach a new treaty that would include all major polluters. The summit kicked off Monday, but Kent is set to join the talks next week. Representatives from 190 countries are participating in the conference.
"We're going to Durban to work in common cause with the other parties to the convention to advance a new climate change agreement, binding eventually, which will engage all emitters in both the developed and the developing countries," Kent said.
In 1997, Canada pledged to reduce carbon emissions by 2012 to 6% below 1990 levels. At a climate change summit in Copenhagen in 2009, Canada agreed to reduce its greenhouse gas emissions from 2005 levels by 17% by 2020.
Canada, Japan and Russia have already confirmed they will not take on "new commitments" under the Kyoto Protocol. The treaty is the only legally binding agreement that requires reductions on greenhouse gas emissions.
The NDP says "Canadians are flabbergasted to find out the Conservatives want to break our solemn commitment on the Kyoto protocol," and claims the government is abandoning its "legal and moral obligations."
The Opposition's environment critic admits Kyoto targets are not currently respected but says they are symbolically important.
"The fact that we will be the only country who has signed on and then walked away from it, it's a symbol of cynicism and a symbol of disrespect," said NDP environment critic Megan Leslie.
Leslie said the NDP plans to send a representative to the talks in Durban."

The Dippers are now using the same kind of pious stand-up climate-comedy lines which climate-clown Stephane Dion and his imploding Liberals had once been delivering.

Now the socialists are braying smugly about 'Canadians being flabbergasted', and about abandonment, and about solemn promises, and about climate morality - this is the same kind of climatalarmist GreenFear-garbage which could have just as easily spewed from Liberal Jim Bradley's mouth! It's boilerplate GreenFear bull. It's funny stuff, in its own pathetic way, really.

So why has Liberal MPP Jim Bradley abdicated his obligation to fight for the Glory That Is Kyoto?

Why is McGuinty's Environment Minister shirking his responsibilities, and not defending his Great Green love, that Great Work That Is Kyoto?

Why is it the Dippers - and not Jim Bradley - who will be polluting their way flying to Durban, to Save Mother Earth From Climate Perdition?

When will Ontario's Liberal Environment Minister Jim Bradley publicly respond to the Kyoto Protocol issues raised in articles such as:

- Terence Corcoran's "Door already shut on Kyoto"
 or
- Peter Foster's "The left's climate moralism"
 or
- Tasha Kheiriddin's "Just say no to Kyoto" ??

C'mon, there, Ontario Environment Minister Jim Bradley: stop hiding and reveal yourself for the Liberal Kyoto-hypocrite that you have always been.

Liberal Environment Minister Jim Bradley's years of Kyoto-pushing waste

Further to my previous post...
...Michael Den Tandt wrote in "Of course, Canada ditched ramshackle, bloated Kyoto commitments", (Montreal Gazette, Nov.29, 2011):

"We didn't get it done," wailed Michael Ignatieff about Canada's lacklustre, ineffectual attempts to meet this country's Kyoto Protocol carbon emission targets, back when the Liberal government of Jean Chretien was serious about pretending it took climate change seriously.

Ignatieff was, of course, spot on: Ottawa's Kyoto commitments died on the operating table in the waning years of Chretien's third term, as the first of three Canadian prime ministers came to realize that implementing Kyoto faithfully would doom the oilpatch and Canada's economic future with it. None of Chretien's Kyoto plans had teeth.

Which raises the question: How can the Liberals continue to holler about Kyoto today, as though they were the treaty's greatest champions? After promising to adopt it, it was they themselves who kicked it to the curb.

In 2002-03, far more than now, a clear disavowal of Kyoto would have been politically disastrous in centrist Ontario and left-leaning Quebec. Who in his or her right mind could be seen to be against saving the planet?

So prime ministers Chretien and Paul Martin in turn adopted the same clever, disingenuous policy: Pay careful lip service to the religion of global warming (because to do otherwise incites the theological fury of the true believers) but move sure-footedly to ensure that neither Canadian industry nor consumers pay a measurable price, for which you'd be blamed later at the polls. It worked not too badly, until sponsorship came along.

In 2006, Stephen Harper inherited Chretien's strategy and refined it. The Harper government in all but name withdrew from Kyoto on Day One. Conservatives have continued to gamely insist they believe enthusiastically in the battle against climate change — because that's what the strategy requires. Unlike the Liberals, though, they never bothered to even try to persuade us they would slash Canada's GHG emissions to six per cent below 1990 levels by 2012, as Kyoto requires.

Here's what both Liberals and Tories would say about climate change, if they were being honest.

The Kyoto Protocol has not mattered globally since 2001, when President George W. Bush unilaterally withdrew for the United States. Even before then, this ramshackle, bloated attempt at global engineering was dead on arrival because of the non-participation of China, India and Brazil, among other huge and fast-growing economies.

Why did Kyoto sacrifice never really take off in Canada? It's not complicated: We have a conflict of interest. According to Statistics Canada, households directly or indirectly contribute about half the country's emissions. We do that by driving cars and heating homes, and by consuming products or services created with the use of fossil fuels.

As both home insulation and cars become more energy efficient, you'd think, emissions must fall. And they do. But economic growth acts as a counter. Between 1990 and 2004, for example, the intensity of Canadian household greenhouse gas emissions decreased by more than 20 per cent. But a 25-per-cent increase in household spending over the same period offset any GHG reductions.

In other words: where there are jobs there are emissions, in equal measure. The only surefire way of slashing emissions across an entire economy is to have a deep and lasting economic collapse, as happened to the former Soviet Union after the fall of the Berlin Wall.

Former Liberal leader Stephane Dion's Green Shift, which he rode into a wall in 2008, was a sincere but politically naive attempt to de-carbonize the Canadian economy by applying monetary levers to the habits of ordinary Canadians. It was offered as a given that said transformation was a necessary and good thing. Dion's plan went supernova because he asked that Canadians accept a lower standard of living — in the form of higher real prices for energy — in exchange for his vision.

But now even that old discussion is being superseded. The skeptical science, for years confined to the scruffy margins by the International Panel on Climate Change and its supporters, took a huge leap forward earlier this year with the discovery by no less than the CERN laboratories, based in Switzerland — arguably the most prestigious scientific group in the world — that fluctuations in the sun's magnetic field have a very large, perhaps dominant effect on the earth's climate.

If further study bears this out, then policymakers will soon be left with the rather stunning conclusion that all of it — Kyoto, Copenhagen, Durban — has mainly been a waste. Even as that work begins, the CERN findings are steadily trickling through the blogosphere, quietly altering the political discussion everywhere — including in Canada, beyond Ottawa."
*
Finally, Den Tandt mentions Chretien's Liberal climate duplicity. About time.

It's funny, eh, how the St.Catharines Standard, just before Durban,  happens to... umm...  suddenly lose all contact [!] with their local Liberal MPP, Jim 'Save-The-Planet' Bradley, who back in 2002 was one of Dalton McGuinty's chief  Kyoto agitators in Ontario! (...and the Standard, of course, was one of Bradley's chief  Liberal-policy trumpeters, doing their best to keep the Save-The-Planet Greenshevism alive).

Funny how there are no interviews today in the Standard with Bradley's like-minded federal colleague, former local Liberal MP Walt Lastewka, about the failure-from-day-one of his Liberal's climate charade.

Funny how there are NO interviews in the St.Catharines Standard with Good Ole Jimmy about his years of deceptive GreenFear-pushing Climate Doomsday Statism!

Funny that in the last... what... twenty years, at least... the Standard has never really bothered to examine their own local Liberal MPP Jim Bradley's GreenFear motivations and policies - even after dedicating a laughable token 'GreenTeam' at the height of the Al Gore-a-Palooza craze and Stephane Bumbledore Dion's shifty green Carnival of Climate Crapola.

Funny how the BradleyBootlickers in Niagara's press now can't find Bradley for his response to the slow, sad realization that his Liberal policies were an utter "waste".

Funny, how the St.Catharines Standard never carried a story examining Jim Bradley's man-made AGW global-warming "evidence", and his years of GreenFear agitation, even in context of the steady ClimateGate revelations! It's as if Ole Jimmy had never been involved in spreading GreenFear, ever!

Funny how the local press can't find responses from local Greenie-pushers like St.Catharines mayor Brian McFullofit, as well as many of Niagara Region's GreenFear political practitioner-opportunists, who fell for and merrily propagated Al Gore's and Dion's and Bradley's GreenFear baseless bullsh!t.

What a waste, indeed.

Kyoto: kaput! [...again...]

The National Post (Nov.29, 2011) wrote in "Say it: Kyoto is dead":
"Shed no tears for the Kyoto Protocol: It was doomed to failure from the get-go. Scores of countries signed the 1997 global-warming treaty, but its carbon-emission limitations were binding only on the very richest of them. The world's two largest emitters - China and the United States - refused to accept any limits. Even most of the nations of Europe, whose leaders spoke of Kyoto's provisions as holy writ, never made the hard economic sacrifices necessary to meet their commitments. To get under their limits, they relied on accounting gimmicks, such as artificially low emission benchmarks dating from the coal-belching Cold War period.
Environmentalists imagine that Kyoto was a sort of bonding moment for the world's nations. In fact, it was an exercise in multilateral cynicism, with each group of nations tying to extract advantage through green posturing. The developing countries, including China, were happy that the treaty would handcuff the industrialized world's economic expansion until they caught up. The Europeans wanted it set up in such a way that they could boast
about their environmental bona fides without doing anything. And the Russians wanted everyone else to be bound by CO 2 limits because they had plenty of unused emission credits they wanted to sell for billions to guilt-ridden Western governments. No one was willing to make the massive, economy crippling measures that would be required to actually reduce greenhouse-gas emissions, such as replacing cheap carbon-based fuel en masse with more expensive renewable fuels.
Even if all the world's nations had somehow found some magical method for meeting their emission limits, the most the environmental treaty could have accomplished would have been to delay the total 21stcentury warming projected by scientists by a decade or less. The Earth would have warmed as much under Kyoto, just at a slightly slower rate.
All of which to say: We aren't distressed by rumours that Canada will soon withdraw from the protocol. Indeed, we hope those rumours are true. Since no Canadian government - either Liberal or Conservative - ever made any serious effort to cut emissions in compliance with our treaty obligations, there will be no effect in terms of actual energy policy in this country. And as noted above, even if there were, it wouldn't make much of a difference. The only effect of abandoning Kyoto would be that we would be striking a blow for intellectual honesty over cynical green flag-waving.
We would not be alone in effectively rejecting Kyoto. The Americans never ratified the treaty: Democrats and Republicans both refused in nearly equal numbers to hobble their economy with unrealistic emission reduction targets. The Australians followed suit in 2002, announcing that there was no way they would ratify, because doing so would hurt the economy. The Japanese voted to "accept" (but not ratify) Kyoto's reduction targets, then passed a law announcing those targets would not be legally binding either on companies or consumers.
Kyoto runs out next year. And the upcoming Durban summit has little hope of achieving a worldwide eco-treaty to succeed it. World leaders have lost all their 1997-era illusions about their ability to escape coal and oil, and about the motivations of the other members of the community of nations. Plus, a weak global economy (far weaker than it was in 1997) has destroyed any appetite for painful green initiatives among middle-class voters in countries such as Canada and the United States.
The hubristic idea that Canada has some critical role to play in saving the Kyoto process, which has been promoted in the Canadian media in recent days, is silly and naïve - a pathetic vestige of the 1990s-era soft-power fantasy that we could change the world through moral suasion. Kyoto will die whatever Canada does. No one in Washington or Beijing truly cares much whether we stay or go, whatever this or that press release may claim.
Many columnists in this newspaper have expressed skepticism regarding the scientific consensus that global warming is real, that it is caused in large part by the emission of green house gases by human economic activity, and that this presents a major problem that the world will have to deal with in coming generations. But even if one accepts the science behind Kyoto, the last 14 years demonstrate that top-down emission-reductions are not the answer. To the extent Prime Minister Stephen Harper has the courage to say this publicly, and formally withdraw from Kyoto, he should get credit for admitting a hard truth that other world leaders know, but will not admit."
*

Let's remember that Liberal Jean Chretien was Canada's chief federal kyodiot; and let's remember that Good Ole Greenshevist Liberal MPP Jim Bradley was happily spreading his GreenFear on the provincial level throughout Ontario - even though Bradley had never publicly revealed which specific "global-warming evidence" compelled him to believe that socialism will 'cure' AGW!
After several decades of GreenFear agitation, Liberal Jim Bradley is still keeping his "global warming" evidence secret!!
So, let's hear Dalton McGuinty's deceptive Liberal Environment Minister Jim Bradley now bitterly complain about Kyoto's obituary (...and no, that's not about Stephane Bumbledore Dion's dog...)

Al Gore's racist meltdown

Good grief - after going ballistic recently with his "bullshit" tirade, climate-change fear-monger Al 'GreenFear TM' Gore continues to spew more of his demented greenshevism TM.
I guess it never occurred to Al Gore that he's the 'denier', that what he's propagating isn't real?!
Gore is the one in denial; refusing to comprehend that his AGW climatalarmism TM has been revealed for the grand charade which it was.
Good gaia:  by Gore's own bullshit-laden-'logic', then not only should Gore himself  be 'shunned like a racist', but so should the likes of  David Suzuki, Rajendra Pachauri, the IPCC, Liberals MPP Jim Bradley, Dalton McGuinty, Stephane Dion, and any other AGW-hysteria-pushing-kyodiotTM... they can all be compared to, treated as, and ridiculed as AlGorical racist/deniers!
This is, after all, the word from the Goracle of GreenFear himself.

The Suzuki and Gore GreenFear carnival act

Further to my Aug.13 post:
Tom Harris, executive director of the International Climate Science Coalition, wrote:

"Re: "Suzuki insults, but won't debate," David R. Legates, Aug. 13.
In the article in which Dr. David Suzuki attacked Dr. Willie Soon, Dr. Suzuki labelled me an "industry shill." A quick look at the website of the International Climate Science Coalition (ICSC), the group I lead, reveals that this is clearly wrong but, sadly, Dr. Suzuki's piece was published by many newspapers across Canada.
I have been sending letters to the editor of all of these publications to explain the Suzuki mistake and most editors have published my correction. They obviously see the double standard when someone from a group that receives substantial funding from industry (namely, the David Suzuki Foundation) calls another person a "shill" for industry when that other person and the group they lead are not funded by industry at all.
The injustice done to me by Dr. Suzuki is far less severe that that done to Dr. Soon, of course. Consequently, I am very pleased to see Prof. David Legates has now explained that Dr. Suzuki's wild attack on Dr. Soon was also based on incorrect and distorted information."
*
If it's not enough to hear Suzuki's now-desperate GreenFear spreading in Canada, let's look at the inconvenient truth about Al Gore's similar climate-change meltdown in the States, as noted by Rex Murphy (National Post, Aug.20, 2011):

"For those who have a wish to hear the grating sound of a man distempered and frustrated that the cause for which he has given at least a decade of his time, the “greatest moral challenge of our time,” is lost, I recommend listening to Al Gore as he was captured during an address at an Aspen global warming conference two weeks ago. It is a revelation.
Mr. Gore is not a happy Jeremiah. You hear him on the tape near rage, repeatedly shouting “bulls–t” over the arguments of his critics. He raves about conspiracy — a rebirth of the tactics of the dreaded tobacco industry of a few decades back. He blames “media manipulation” for the refusal of people to take up his gloomy summons. He hisses at “volcanoes and sunspots” as having much or anything to do with climate. “Bulls–!” he cries over and over — perhaps it’s the methane content that has him mesmerized with the word. Listen to this aria: “They pay pseudo-scientists to pretend to be scientists to put out the message: ‘This climate thing, it’s nonsense. Man-made CO2 doesn’t trap heat. It may be volcanoes.’ Bulls–t! ‘It may be sun spots.’ Bulls–t! ‘It’s not getting warmer.’ Bulls–t!”
Can a person win the Nobel Peace prize twice? I surely hope so, for this is the E=mc² moment of our green time.
It is not a pretty display. The question the sorry little rant calls up is whether, in its way, this temper fit was a signal that the great global warming crusade, that has had such a sweet run for the last decade or more, is finally over. Has it run, so to speak, out of gas?
The signs are everywhere that it has. Here in Canada, for example, how far are we from those days when Stéphane Dion was the freshly-minted leader of the Liberal party, having ascended to that dubious altitude largely on the pledge that he was going to build a “green” Canada. It was telling that within the Liberal party at that time featly (sic, 'fealty') to a drastic and nebulous green agenda was enough to grab the leadership prize away from the perceived stronger candidates, Bob Rae and Michael Ignatieff. As so often happens, however, much as they are embraced by celebrities and touted by inside “experts,” when so-called green politics are placed before the people those politics and the people who espouse them are forcefully rejected.
Some five or so years later, not a little of Stephen Harper’s success in gaining a majority government came from refusing to engage, in any serious and convincing manner, with the politics of the planet-savers. Political correctness dictates some tepid genuflection towards the obsession with a warming planet, but Harper — and people know this — can be counted on not to jump on the carbon-counting express. He can be counted on to not bend in the face of the manufactured fury presented by professional activists and environmentalists, either to slow or stop the oil sands or introduce some ludicrous and wasteful “tax” on carbon dioxide. And while it may be a footnote to the national trend, Rob Ford’s election as mayor of Toronto can also be read, in part, as a rebuke to the previous mayor’s incessant tinkering with “environmental” measures — from plastic bag surcharges to bike lanes — at the expense of more basic municipal functions.
These are merely the local Canadian signals. But one can skip the globe and find almost everywhere that governments, staring at the reality of recession and financial anxiety, have given up on their vague projections of green economics. Where is President Obama, who promised that on his accession “the rise of the oceans will start to slow and the planet begin to heal?” — surely the most fatuous declaration in the history of politics. Well, he appears to be giving speeches every second day, but none of them feature the retreating oceans or our healed planet.
In fact he’s been tooling around in a $2-million bus oblivious of the carbon costs, and there simply hasn’t been any signal that his White House is giving the great Gore crusade anything but the barest of rhetorical support. If there were any political value to ardent greensmanship, surely a President who is floundering on the economy and sinking in the polls would have grabbed that raft with a passion.
But there isn’t anymore. Perhaps the recession has tamed the imaginations of most people and their governments. In tight economic times people are naturally unwilling to engage in the comic-book fantasies of the wilder environmentalists. Perhaps Climategate gave a too-souring glimpse into the mixture of science and advocacy that has, to some extent, corrupted both. Perhaps, finally, the unctuousness, sanctimony and sputtering righteousness of the high-profile environmentalists signal to most observers that they aren’t really as certain of all this “science” as they pretend to be. Either way this long green game has lost its fundamental energies. The celebrities will find another wristband; the politicians will find a new vague distraction.
For that, Mr. Gore himself has a lot of blame to carry. His own “sputtering righteousness” and his adolescent barks of “bulls–t” to his critics may be a reverse of the Obama declaration. Gore’s meltdown might just be the moment when the people of the planet saw the carney show for what it was."
*
The Paducah Sun weighed in about Al Gore's unhinged tantrum back on Aug.14, 2011:

"Al Gore has good reason to be so angry. But it’s not the reason you might think.
At the Aspen Institute last week, the former vice president, behaving like anything but, unleashed an obscenity laced tirade against those who aren’t buying what he’s selling: global warming. The number of scientists moving into the skeptic ranks regarding manmade climate change is growing.
“They pay pseudo-scientists to pretend to be scientists to put out the message: ‘This climate thing, it’s nonsense. Man-made CO2 doesn’t trap heat. It may be volcanoes.’ Bull****! ‘It may be sun spots.’ Bull****! ‘It’s not getting warmer.’ Bull****!”
Sounds like someone’s losing an argument.
He complained, “There’s no longer a shared reality on an issue like climate, even though the very existence of our civilization is threatened.”
Gore doesn’t live like the very existence of our civilization is threatened. With his many mansions, his fleet of vehicles and his travels aboard private jets, he leaves the carbon footprint of a small city. Yet he claims to live a “carbon-neutral” lifestyle because he pays poor people in Third World countries to plant trees. That’s a luxury reserved for the wealthy, like Gore,  with guilty consciences to pacify over their conspicuous consumption.
He’s not alone. Every global climate summit has been an orgy of excess that exposed the hypocrisy of all those hoping to cash in on global warming panic.
Civilization is not threatened, but Gore’s fortune may be. He is heavily invested in green technology and carbon trading. But the green market is just not performing. So he’s beginning to sound deranged.
How else to explain this statement from his rant: “It’s no longer acceptable in mixed company, meaning bipartisan company, to use the god**** word ‘climate.’”
Seriously?
Gore cited different arguments of the skeptics but gave the same response to all three, a one-word profanity for “baloney.” If the poison is the lack of science on the other side, then the antidote should be real science, right? Instead, he resorts to the very tactic he (falsely) accuses the other side of engaging in: unsupported assertions.
Gore’s real problem is real science. Between embarrassing blunders and scientific scandals among the leading climatologists, the global warming movement is evaporating, and with it Gore’s dreams of untold wealth."

Turns out, the Gorzukion Greenshevist Goons  (... the Gores, the Suzukis, the Stephane Dions) - including climate-fear-spreading wankers such as Ontario Liberal MPP Jim Bradley and Dalton McGuinty's gang of Kyodiots - were and are full of "bullshit", more specifically, GreenShit.

Just like that poor brainwashed/ greenwashed TSN sports moron (on 1050 AM radio today at 5pm) who actually - seriously!! - linked hurricanes with climate-change! To back up his deranged claim, this sports clown then pointlessly tells us to "read a book"....! WTF, TSN????!

Wow: a TSN sports-jock, a political commentator, AND a learned climate scientist, rolled up into one GreenFear-spreader. This green clown even knew the word 'skeptic', but only as it applied to revering certain sports figures!!

Bradley and Suzuki and Gore and Dion are proud of your green bullshit too, buddy.

Jim Bradley's Liberal GreenFear aims to frighten voters

The Aug.10, 2011 National Post editorial "Playing by Stephane Dion's playbook" points out that Dalton McGuinty's deep greeners are fearmongering about climate change again:
There's a whiff of Stéphane Dion in the Ontario government's determination to keep touting its green energy agenda as a key issue in the upcoming October election.
A Nanos poll released Monday found that the environment ranks near the bottom of voter concerns, with just 5.7% naming it as the top issue, a decline of almost three points from June. The poll was intended for federal politics, but if you don't consider the environment a top issue in Ottawa, it seems unlikely you'll consider it one in Ontario.
An internal Liberal memo obtained by the media warned that only four in 10 Ontarians think the government is on the right track with an energy policy that emphasizes alternative sources, backed by a mammoth deal with Samsung and heavily subsidized power rates for wind, solar and other renewable energy projects.
Just last week the government belatedly revised the Samsung deal, cutting $327million off the "incentives" on offer. No politics involved in the decision, of course - nothing to do with the opposition's successful hammering of the agreement as the ultimate sweetheart deal. And surely not a sign that the deal that the McGuinty Liberals originally signed with Samsung, and then defended tooth and nail, was overly generous in the first place.
Yet the Liberals are out on the campaign trail, not only defending the deal but promoting it as a great achievement. Without it, they insist, 16,000 jobs will be lost and billions in investments will leave the province - talking about the figures as if those jobs already existed, and the investments made, when in reality they're just a projection offered up by the Liberals. "The economic impact of killing 16,000 green energy jobs would be like an asteroid hitting the Earth," insisted Liberal candidate Greg Crone on Monday. "It's a planet killer that will throw Ontario into an economic dark age."
Mr. Crone's comparison is colourful, if somewhat over the top - to the best of our knowledge, job losses in Ontario would not likely be deemed a threat to the safety of our planet. What Mr. Crone has overlooked in his apocalyptic hysteria, however, is that the impact of "killing" jobs that don't exist is the same as the impact of an asteroid that doesn't exist: Nothing. The Earth doesn't incinerate, the province doesn't plunge into a dark age, people aren't reduced to foraging for nuts, berries or an occasional tin of Spam.
Mr. Dion tried convincing the country that a similar apocalypse would ensue unless he was elected prime minister so he could implement his Green Shift, which was going to cut income taxes and introduce an environmental nirvana to the country. People didn't buy it, and we know what happened. No apocalypse, except for the Liberals, who do indeed seem to be going the way of the dinosaurs.
What has people far more agitated is the cost of supporting Dalton McGuinty's agenda: Higher power costs, monitored by "smart meters" that got their name because no matter how hard you try to reduce your bill, they can outsmart you. Stephen Harper defeated Mr. Dion by arguing that the economy was a bigger concern than the quest for nirvana, and Ontario's Liberals find themselves in a similar situation today. The U.S. economy, which provides Ontario's biggest market, may be falling into a second recession. Even if it avoids a decline, there's little prospect of actual growth. Europe is teetering on a similar, if not greater, chasm. Those crises could have a serious impact on Canada, making it harder for Ottawa to meet its budget targets and eliminate the deficit. Ontario, which under Mr. McGuinty has become dependent on equalization payments (due to total $2.2-billion this year) is hardly in a position to outperform.
So, with a real issue to address, the Liberals prefer to talk about the environment and the wonders that can be achieved with windmills. Maybe they'll win the vote of the 5% of Ontarians who consider alternative energy their top issue. It's the other 95% that could prove tricky.
*
It's not just the whiff of Bumbledore Dion we're smelling: it's also the stench of Liberal greenshevist asses Jim Bradley, Brad Duguid, and George Smitherman
Wait till these fearmongering Liberal turds see the ass-teroid that's coming their way in October...(Smitty already saw it in Toronto; but as the GEA is his spawn, it'll be nice to see Furious George defeated yet again)

Climate-change GreenFear: Junk-science recycled into junkier politics

It would be nice for some of Niagara's GreenFear-spreaders to provide a local rebuttal to Rex Murphy's column, "Inviting the fox into the henhouse" (National Post, Jun.18, 2011):

"One of the disturbing practices revealed by the great cache of emails out of the University of East Anglia - the so-called Climategate emails - was the attempted shortcutting or corruption of the oh-so precious peer-review process. The emails contained clear declarations of how the grand viziers of climate science would lean on journals and reporters to make sure certain critics did not get the validation, the laying on of peer-reviewed hands, so critical to full participation in the great climate debate. This was most succinctly expressed by the beautiful quote from Dr. Phil Jones of East Anglia that, "We will keep them out somehow -even if we have to redefine what peer-review literature is."

Much of what the world bizarrely allows to be called climate "science" is a closetgame, an in-group referring to and reinforcing its own members. The insiders keep out those seen as interlopers and critics, vilify dissenters and labour to maintain a proprietary hold on the entire vast subject. It has been described very precisely as a "climate-assessment oligarchy." Less examined, or certainly less known to the general public, is how this in-group loops around itself. How the outside advocates buttress the inside scientists, and even -this is particularly noxious -how the outside advocates, the non-scientists, themselves become inside authorities.

It's the perfect propaganda circle. Advocates find themselves in government offices, or on panels appointed by politicians disposed towards the hyper-alarmism of global warming. On the International Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) boards and panels, like seeks out like. And when the IPCC issues one of its state-of-the-global-warming-world reports, legions of environmentalists, and their maddeningly sympathetic and uninquisitive friends in most of the press, shout out the latest dire warnings as if they were coming from the very mouth of Disinterested Science itself.

An early and particularly graphic illustration of this vicious circle came when the IPCC 2007 report warned that most the great Himalayan glaciers would melt by the year 2035. Not only was the claim of a massive melt the very height of ignorant nonsense -the sun would have to drop on the Earth to provoke a melt of this proportion - it was also plucked from a seven-year-old publication of the ever busy World Wildlife Federation (WWF). As the Times of London put it, the claim itself was "inherently ludicrous" culled from a "campaigning report" rather than "an academic paper," was not "subject of any scientific review" and despite all these shortcomings became "a key source for the IPCC ... [for] the section on the Himalayas."

A scare report, seven years old, from the an environmental advocacy group, became the key document for a major report released under the authority of the IPCC, the world's best and brightest global warming minds. Sir Isaac Newton would be so proud.

Now we have an even more telling illustration of this same sad, vicious circle. It was first reported on by Steven McIntyre on his blog, Climate Audit (and was run on the FP Comment page of Friday's National Post). McIntyre revealed that the IPCC used a Greenpeace campaigner to write a key part of its report on renewable energy and to make the astonishing claim that "close to 80% of the world's energy supply could be met by renewables by mid-century if backed by the right enabling public policies." He further revealed that the claim arose from a "joint publication of Greenpeace and the European Renewable Energy Council (EREC)." And it turns out that while working for the IPCC, the Greenpeace campaigner approvingly cited a Greenpeace report that he himself was the lead author of. He peer-reviewed himself.

A report on renewables, by the Renewable Energy Council of Europe, and Greenpeace, peer-reviewd by the man who wrote it. All they need add is a citation from the Suzuki Foundation and an endorsement from Elizabeth May and "the science will be settled" forever.

This is not just letting the fox into the hen house. This is giving him the keys, passing him the barbeque sauce and pointing his way to the broiler. Or, as McIntyre put it in plainer terms: "A lead author of the IPCC report, and of the hyped 80% scenario, is Sven Teske of Greenpeace International, whose official contribution is essentially based on a Greenpeace report cooked up with Europe's renewable energy industry."

Kind people may put this down to pure sloppiness on the part of the IPCC. Coming after its disastrous handling of the Himalayan glacier melt, however, it looks to me more like deliberate mischief. The IPCC cannot be that stupid by chance. Why these stories, and others of comparable magnitude, have not worked their way into the consciousness of the world's politicians despite such clear demonstrations of the IPCC's ramshackle processes is a mystery. But thanks to Steve McIntyre and others of nearequal courage, standing firm against the rage and mockery of the alarmist warming establishment, at least some of the IPCC's dubious and chillingly erroneous practices are revealed."

Let's ask Liberal MPP Jim Bradley - Ontario's chief climate-change / global-warming bullshit artist - to comment on Murphy's story.
C'mon there, Jimmy, Ole Feller - spill your secrets! Tell Ontarians the ACTUAL SCIENTIFIC BASIS for your Kyoto agitation, and your green bolshevik climate lies!!
Yep - Liberal Jim Bradley has never publicly revealed  his basis, his sources, his influences, his... um... "reasoning" - for pulling his green climate fraud onto the province of Ontario.
Jimmy's had plenty of chances to provide a detailed explanation - and, we're still waiting!! [For decades, Niagara's media has been loathe to question Liberal MPP Jim Bradley's GreenFear-based climatalarmism.]
Jim Bradley is not the only climate-change-global-warming fear-mongering greenshevik in Niagara - let's get St.Catharines joke of a mayor Brian McMullan's response to Murphy's story!
McMullan doesn't think he has to provide any answers either for his deluded climate fear-spreading - McMullan partnered the City of St.Catharines up WITH the WWF for all those earth-day-turn-out-the-lights propaganda efforts for the last several years - has anybody asked Mayor McFullofit to actually prove that sitting in the dark for a symbolic hour is anything more than symbolic - and fraudulently symbolic, at that?
What a green-con-artist. [...and, year after year, Niagara's complicit press runs the earth day hokum WWF/McMullan propaganda, NO QUESTIONS ASKED!!]
It's sheer lunacy: GreenFear TM paranoia manifested in duplicitous publicly-funded policy.
How about that other local climate-change-fear-monger, Liberal mayor of Niagara Falls, Jim Diodati - ditto for him, as well - let's ask Diodati to offically explain the "causes" of  "global-warming" - and then let's ask Diodati to explain the role of water vapour and the sun in creating GHG; then let's also ask Diodati about Niagara Falls' role in contributing to "climate-change", and why he's not stopping the creation of Niagara's dangerous, vaporous planet-killing mists!
These green-pandering political hacks are perpetrating a massive fraud, using junk-science from Al Gore's ass to scare citizens into adopting green socialism - former Liberal MP Walter Lastewka did it, Liberal joke Stephane 'Bumbledore' Dion did it, Michael Ignatieff did it, now the Conservatives are even getting into it... all based on a 'consensus' mirage, recycling junk-science into junkier politics.
Then we had a report by Kristy Kirkup in the Jun.16, 2011 St.Catharines Standard telling us about more climate-change fear being spread by Jack - off MassageBoy Layton's NDP environment critic Megan Leslie.
Perhaps while the above-mentioned GreenFear-spreading kyodiots ignore responding to Murphy, they can also hide from and refuse to comment on these columns as well:

So, let's fast forward to Howard Fischer's Dec. 8, 2017 Tuscon.com report "UA ordered to surrender emails to skeptics of human-caused climate change" which - all these GreenFear-propaganda-packed years later - is nevertheless still DIRECTLY linked to the phony 'hockey-stick' issue behind the initial Climategate scandal:

"The University of Arizona has been ordered to surrender emails by two UA scientists that a group claims will help prove that theories about human-caused climate change are false and part of a conspiracy.
Pima County Superior Court Judge James Marner rejected arguments by the Board of Regents that disclosure of the documents would be “contrary to the best interests of the state.”
Marner said it may be true that some of the documents sought by Energy & Environment Legal Institute might be classified as unpublished research, manuscripts, preliminary analyses, drafts of scientific papers and plans for future research.
But the judge said the subject matter of the documents has become available to the general public. And that, Marner said, does not allow the university to withhold disclosure under a separate section of the law governing university records.
There was no immediate response from the university.
The ruling is a turnabout for Marner, who had previously ruled that some emails were properly withheld because they contained things like confidential information or attorney work product. He said at the time that the university did not act arbitrarily or capriciously in withholding other documents, including unpublished data, research, drafts and commentary.
But last year the state Court of Appeals told Marner to take another look.
Appellate Judge Joseph Howard, writing for the unanimous court, said it’s legally irrelevant what university officials thought was appropriate to disclose.
He said everyone involved in the case acknowledges that the emails from Malcolm Hughes, who is still with the UA, and Jonathan Overpeck, who left earlier this year, are public records. Howard said state law carries a presumption that all public records are subject to disclosure, with certain exceptions.
That, Howard said, required Marner to examine the records to determine whether making them public would harm “the best interests of the state,” as the university has claimed.
Craig Richardson, president of E & E, said the request relates to so-called “hockey stick” research. It drew its name from graphs that climate scientists say show a long-term decline in global temperatures over most of the last 150 years followed by a sharp rise.
“It’s the foundational argument for really this whole climate change industry and their focus,” he said.
In 2009, some computer servers at the University of East Anglia in Britain were hacked and emails stolen, with the names of the two UA scientists found in the mix. Some of what was found was labeled “climategate” and is being used by groups to show that global warming is a conspiracy.
“They showed there were a lot of games being played with the data,” Richardson said.
He said that getting all the emails, including from the two scientists, will reveal “an unvarnished view of how the process works ... and how climate scientists on the other side of this have been shut out.”

I'm sure that , as usual, no one at the St. Catharines Standard will dare approach local Liberal GreenFear propagandists such as MPP Jim Bradley or MP Chris Bittle or the hack Diodati for their comment on this development regarding the "foundational argument" of their own GreenFear-based climate delusions - -  or to even ask them to provide 'evidence' of the scientific basis for the GreenFear which they constantly spout ('Dis ain't got nuttin' ta do wit Chrissy and da Jimmies..!).
The local Niagara press allows these climate change hoaxters to peddle their climate fear policies without context or scrutiny.
